Bill McCoy
Hello everyone! Excited to see where the club goes. I’m relatively new to prospecting (about a year)and I really enjoy it. I’m always up for meeting up and working together. Currently have a small sluice, drywasher, Gold Bug 2 and a GPX 5000. I live in Inyo county, CA Edited January 2, 2020 by Bill McCoy
Beeper Bob
Morning Bill, Like that area for prospecting. Was going to head up that way up that way around Thanksgiving. luckily I did not and missed the big storm. How much snow is on the ground around Lone Pine, Probably a lot still on the Inyos? Thanks Bob
Bill McCoy
Hi Bob, It’s all gone at lower elevations except areas of shadow. Here’s a picture taken this morning looking East. It’s also unusually warm, 54F here at the house. I’m in the Alabama Hills west of Lone Pine.
Beeper Bob
Nice picture Bill, surprised the Inyos are almost snow free. May be able to make it up that way around the end of the month will let you know. Thanks, Bob

Flak
I love the Inyo's. Bill McCoy, you live in a beautiful area. I used to work on commercials that were shot in the Alabama Hills and fell in love with the area. Happy New Year and welcome. If you get a chance to meet Beeper Bob, take it, he's a winner.
