Yes indeed prospecting is allowed in Wilderness areas as long as it is not a national monument or wildlife reserve.

We are in the process of rebuilding the club and this includes acquiring claims for members, so hang on as we move along and will keep everyone updated. We were handed a club with only a couple claims left in November and we are working hard to grow again.
